Hushpad were an acoustic pop group from Illinois featuring Matthew and Angela (and later just Matthew). They released two 7″s, the first “From Here To There” features my favorite song “Saturday”. There were rumors of an album and another single recorded to be released on Saltwater Records in the late 90s, but it sadly never came to be. Matthew if you’re reading this, let’s hear it!
Speaking of Saltwater, one of my faves 7″s from this period is the one by Black Fantastic, can you put upload (if you like it as well, of course)? I’d love to have this on mp3 (I only have it on vinyl). I also have Dear Jenny by HUshpad - and I don’t like it. I thought this was the only one by them, great to know they also have this one from 1994! Let’s give them a second chance hehe.

Definitely! I haven’t listened to the Black Fantastic single in a long time so it will give me a good excuse. I’ll try and post it this week.
Yeah give Hushpad a second chance. The “From Here To There” 7″ is definitely my favorite of the two.
