Naffi vs. Brenda and the Beachballs

Here’s a Naffi track that has spanned over two releases, two bands and four years. “Every Day Just Another Dream” recorded by Naffi in 1982 from “Yum Yum Yum Yum Ya” (Ark Records) and then again by Brenda and the Beachballs in 1986 from “Volume One” (Probe Plus). Which version do you prefer?

  1. Survey says!!!! Track one reminds me of something off Pillows and Prayers-maybe Thomas Leer with Tracey Thorn? Which is a cool combo. I prefer track two, I’m a sucker for strings and it’s easier to dance to as well. Keep up the great posts, loving all the stuff you find.

  2. The Naffi version reminds me of that 800 Cherries single with Fresh Water on it…. when I heard the intro to the Beachballs side, I thought “oh, this version is gonna be way better!” but then before it was over I changed my mind. Naffi wins! By a slim margin…
